I was relatively new to the travel industry when, with two business partners, we set up our business in 2007. The Hays Travel Independence Group was recommended to me and I have not been disappointed.

As a new business, it’s essential that you have a good backup team to support you as you get off the ground and, as an established business, a company who are always looking to improve on existing systems/contracts etc. One of the benefits of working within the group is, whilst it is a large company, there’s a feeling of being known by everyone, even senior management. The very competitive commercial terms and the freedom to place business where we want, without being directed to certain companies, makes the whole experience a good one.

The support from departments in head office is first class, and even when we don’t do things quite the way we are supposed to, there’s an understanding person at the end of the line!
